Application Of Weft Clip In Hair Extensions

Step 1 
Begin with practicing of opening and closing the clips. To do this, place your thumb carefully on each side of the clip. Your index finger should be on the front side of the extension. To snap open the clip you just need to apply pressure towards yourself with the index finger.

Step 2 
This step involves the attaching of the hair. In order to do this, you need to create a part line above your ear. This line should extend back along the side of your head to the point where you want to attach the extension. Next you have to pick up your hair in such a way that is away from your face. Once you've ensured this, work on the attaching part.

Step 3 
Placement of the weft constitutes the third step. As discussed previously, your hair should be above the part, pulled up and clipped out of the way. Begin by placing clips from the top edge of the weft onto your hair. This should be done in a manner that the top portion of the weft gets even with the part.

Step 4 
Step 4 is marked by the placement of the first and second clips. It is always recommended to place the middle clip first. The basic idea you should work on here is that you place the clip carefully below the part, catch sufficient hair in it and then quickly snap it shut. Thereafter, you can attach the second clip towards the right of the middle clip.

Step 5 
This is the final step and in it you have to place the third clip. To attach the third one, you would need to hold the middle clip tightly with your right hand. Then use your left hand and move the left edge of the weft to the maximum possible distance it can travel around your head. This done, you have to place the left extension clip on the hair which is right underneath the part line. Just like before, catch sufficient amount of hair in the clip and snap it shut.
